Mike's Models
I have a cellarful of plastic aircraft kits that I am whittling down. As I sort out each box of kits, I will list its contents here. Most of the kits are from the 1970s-1990s. I used to specialise in Imperial Japanese aircraft and early post-war British aircraft (amongst others), and my father specialised in inter-war aircraft and civil aircraft.
What I do
I usually post models on TradeMe (in New Zealand, where I live) or eBay. To minimise overheads, I often bundle kits into related sets.
Initially I will just put a summary description of each kit as I find it. If anyone requires further information, I can take a closer look and report. All of my kits have travelled a lot, and been stored in some strange places, so I make no especial claims as to their mintness. But most are still in good condition for builders, and for some collections, depending how desperate you are.
I don't post prices on this blog. I know what the kits are worth, and I always prefer to agree a price that everyone is happy with. At the end of the day, I am prepared to let the auction sites decide the values.
If you see something that interests you, or if you suspect that I might have the sort of model that you are looking for, let me know.
